Spring in Bavaria

I miss it

Now it´s 3 weeks ago since I left Africa but I yearning for it. I write a lot of text messages and mails with my friends every day but this makes it unimproved. I gave my vacation to my employer for May 2008 so I hope to go back for three weeks. To shorten the time I´ll posting some more pictures from the last trip:

The children were so happy about the food and school equipment, so they danced and sang for us till we had tears in our eyes. I´ll never forget this.

This is so beautiful, Susi. It made me have tears in my eyes too. The children are so beautiful and makes me wish I could have one of my own.

Also, the giraffe scared me. One minute he was far away and then in the next picture, he was sticking his head through my computer monitor. I didn't expect him to get so close so quickly. =)

You´re right sister, we had tears in our eyes but we didn´t show it the children because they were so happy and we had to be happy too. You can´t imagine... No child in Germany would be so glad about a lollipop. The little of them hold it about two minutes in the air before they ate it.
We are living in a paradise, we have everything we need and don´t realize it.
It warms my heart when ever I think of the visit...
